1. Support for wireless Presenter
 

SkillCapture supports the use of remote presenters to activate the capture start. The TrendNet Wireless Presenter TU2-P2W has been tested and verified to work.

2. Copy selected user files

This option enables copy of specific user videos to a selected location. This can be used to copy user video files after traning to USB memory key.

3. Fixed problem with FTP

Fixed problem with FTP uploading.

4. New organization of files in the Source folder

In previous versions of SkillCapture there has been no organization of the session folder video files. All video files has been stored in the same folder and only in the upload progress sorted. In the new version the files will be organized to follow the user profile. If a video files is assigned to a user the video file will be moved to the correct folder.

5. SkillCapture main application scaling

Adjustment of the main application window size to fit various screen sizes. The following is possible:

1. Normal (Default size)
2. Standard 1280x1024
3. Netbook 1024x600
4. Touch 1440x900

The size can be modified in the Config application installed with SkillCapture.

1. Activity led

The activity led is signaling the Prepare time. By looking at the activity led you can follow the video capture process. Green Led - Idle, Blue - Ready for capturing (Motion and SkillID), Yellow - Prepare time, Red - Video capture.

2. Prepare time works for all starting methods

In prvious versions the prepare time was only for the SkillID registration. Now the prepare time is used for all type of video capture start. In order to avoid prepare time just set it to 0.

3. Fixed problem with user file on Windows Vista

Due to the virtualization feature in Vista it has been a problem to add and modify the users from the SkillCapture interface. The user file has been moved to the standard Windows application data folder.

1. Completly redesign of the user interface

The interface of SkillCapture has been completly redesigned. New buttons has been added, easy adjustment of capture time, prepare time, delay.

2. Simplified configuration

Configuration of the motion detection has been simplified. Now it possible to define the area of detection using sliders.

3. Better handling of interlaced video

Video playback on Windows Vista had some problems when the video was interlaced (video from mini DV cameras). This problem has been solved to give even better images.

Vista is going to be the new operating system from Windows. So the new version of SkillCapture has been tested on XP, Vista Home, Vista Home Premium and Vista 64Bit Home Premium. The previous version had problems with UAC of Vista. This has also been fixed.
