The primary purpose of SkillCapture® is to enable real time video delay/feedback with limited user interaction during training sessions. The only interaction needed is during navigation in video playback, and this can be simplified with the use of touchscreen.

A SkillCapture® is not limited to run on desktop system but can also run on laptop computeres.

SkillCapture can utilize many different cameras types (web cams, DV, surveillance etc.), but depending on the application the various cameras might not be suitable. Look at the camera faq for further information.

The concept of SkillCapture® is to capture small video sequences. The video capture start can be triggered by motion detection, keyboard or SkillChip. The capture stop is based on configurable time. After the video sequence has been captured it will be played back at user configured speed. The time from capture stop until playback can be adjusted to user requirements.

After both capture and display, SkillCapture will compress the video for further storage of the video.

If it's desired the compressed video can be uploaded using either standard copy, ftp or http.

SkillCapture® can handle both capture, playback, compression and upload in real time. So even though some users view videos the capturing, compression and uploading processes is continuously running.

The computer monitor can easily be hooked up to larger LCD's or projectors to enable easier viewing. Its also possible to use touchscreen.
