Multiple DV cameras using firewire

Is it possible to have multiple DV cameras connected to the computer?

Yes but it might require extra firewire interface. Most firewire interface (and also windows) only supports single DV camera connection. The solution is to install an extra firewire interface and connect each individual camera on each firewire interface. Most often its also possible for laptops to install extra firewire interface using the cardbus interface.
