Firewire to USB conversion

In some computers (like NetBooks) there is no Firewire (1394) connection or option to add Firewire connection based on PCI, PCMCIA or ExpressCard 34/54 addon cards. So how to connect MiniDV camera using the firewire connection?

The company DeLock has an ExpressCard 34/54 USB device which can interface a FireWire ExpressCard through the USB connection.
